Privacy Policy

We never sell your information. Programs never see your saved list, your notes or your searches.

Your email address

If you make an account, send an info request or sign up for the newsletter, we keep your email address. We use it to sign you in, to send you a copy of your requests, and to send the emails you asked for. It stays until you delete your account. After that we keep it only on a do-not-email list, so we never send you list mail again.

Your account

A family account holds your first name if you give it, the programs you save, your private notes on each program, and, only if you choose to tell us, your part of town, your kids' grade ranges, what you're looking for and whether you need learning support. We use these for your list and for the alerts you ask for, and in totals only to learn what families want. Only you see them. If you sign in with Google, we keep Google's id for your account so we know it's you. We never keep your Google password or any access to your Google account.

We do not ask for children's names, ages or birthdates, or for your faith, your street address or your ZIP code.

Info requests

When you send a request from a program's page, it goes to that program: your name, your email, your phone if you add it, your kids' grades and your message. If we don't have a way to reach the program yet, we save it and show it to them when they claim their listing, and we tell you so. We keep requests for 24 months. If you delete your account, the program keeps the request it already received, but it is no longer linked to you.

What you do on the site

We count views, website clicks, phone reveals, directions and saves for each listing, as daily totals with no names attached. Programs see those totals for their own listing. When you are signed in, we also keep a private history of the website clicks, phone reveals, directions and requests you made, for your own account. Programs never see it. We do not tie anything you did before you signed up to your account, and we do not keep IP addresses.

The newsletter

We only send the newsletter if you tick the box that asks. We keep when and where you said yes. You can stop it from any email or from your account settings.

Deleting your account

Go to your account settings and choose Delete my account. It takes one step. We delete your saved programs, notes, profile, alert settings, activity history and Google link, and remove your email from the account.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the site is used: which pages people visit, what they click, and short anonymized session replays that show how a visit went. Anything typed into a form is masked in those replays, so we never see it. We do not use PostHog on account, dashboard or admin pages. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we honor it and PostHog stays quiet. We do not sell your data.

We do not knowingly collect data from children. Our forms are addressed to parents and program leaders.
