Baytown sits on the Ship Channel, and its Christian and Catholic list reflects a community built around refining and shipping work rather than new master-planned subdivisions. Most of what is listed is full-time private schools, smaller and often tied to one parish or congregation. The Catholic school stops at eighth grade, and a classical Christian school offers more.

A classical Christian school here notes that it takes students with autism on a case-by-case basis, which is worth a direct conversation if that describes your child. A Christian homeschool support group with a membership model also appears, useful when you want other Baytown parents rather than a school.

There is no Christian co-op listed for Baytown, and the whole East Harris corridor carries less private-school variety than the western suburbs. Pasadena and Deer Park are the usual next stops.

On TEFA, most of the schools appear to be accredited at the level that qualifies for up to $10,474 a year. Confirm the accreditor and its TEPSAC status with each school, and ask about the two-year rule if the campus is newer.
