Special needs and therapies in Northwest
Special needs and therapy is the Northwest's deepest option, and it is almost entirely a Cypress story, with Jersey Village adding to it. The practices cover speech and language, autism support and dyslexia, and nearly every listing is described as staffed.
Most offer a la carte sessions in person, and a good share run a hybrid of clinic and online visits. Some work fully online. That mix helps in a suburb where a therapy schedule can collide with US-290 traffic, and it is worth asking any practice about telehealth before you commit to a weekly slot.
The money works like this: the program pays vendors directly, and every provider here appears on the approved-vendor rolls. Educational therapies are covered to the extent insurance does not cover them. If a practice recently applied to become a vendor, the approval can take a month or more, and a session before approval is not payable. The much larger amount of up to $30,000 is for a student with an IEP at an accredited private school, and a homeschooler with an IEP receives the flat $2,000.

Featured programs are paid placements and appear first. Some programs also pay for a larger profile, which never changes the order. Every listing here is free. How we make money.
