Homeschool co-ops in Southeast/Bay Area
Co-ops in the Bay Area are all Christian, and they meet on Fridays. That consistency is unusual enough to plan around: a family that wants two groups will find them on the same day, so the choice is usually one or the other. The groups are based in Clear Lake/Webster, Friendswood, League City and Texas City, which puts most of them within a short drive of one another.
Parents teach in most of them, and every group asks families to sign a statement of faith. A national classical-education network is behind some, and grades run from Pre-K through high school, with math, science, art and PE named as regular subjects.
Clear Lake/Webster carries the most, and League City and Friendswood are each about 10 minutes away. Texas City, further down the corridor, is the longer drive. Many NASA-adjacent families here ask about STEM, so look closely at each group's science and math offerings.
On TEFA, co-op fees stay unsettled. The program pays only registered vendors, so an informal group cannot be paid, and one that registers might bill instruction as class or tutoring fees, though that is reasoning rather than a stated rule. Ask each group directly.

Featured programs are paid placements and appear first. Some programs also pay for a larger profile, which never changes the order. Every listing here is free. How we make money.
