Private schools in Southeast/Bay Area

25 listings. Full-time private schools, religious and secular, including special-education schools.

The Bay Area's private schools stretch from Clear Lake/Webster and League City down to Galveston, with Texas City, Seabrook/Kemah, Dickinson and Friendswood filling in the corridor. That makes this one of the widest-ranging private-school pages in the metro, and it matches how families here think about local: less by city line, more by how far down I-45 or Highway 146 they will drive.

The mix is Christian, Catholic and unstated, and more are open to families outside their own church than ask for more. Grades run from Pre-K through twelfth, with Bible, music, art, PE, science and a foreign language among the subjects named. At least one school lists support for autism, ADHD, dyslexia or sensory needs, which is more specific than most listings offer.

Clear Lake/Webster is about 10 minutes from both League City and Friendswood, so a family in the middle can visit several campuses in a day.

A private school that accepts TEFA typically does so as a registered participating school, and the tier follows accreditation: a TEPSAC-recognized agency plus two years at a Texas campus for up to $10,474 a year, and $2,000 without them. Ask each school for both facts.
