Private schools in Spring

Spring runs along the I-45 north corridor across Harris and Montgomery counties, and its private schools span a couple of different denominational traditions rather than clustering around one. Some of Spring's schools carry TEFA-accredited status, worth knowing upfront since it changes which award tier an eligible family can access.

Spring sits close to both Klein and The Woodlands, each about 12 minutes away, and a lot of families here treat all three as one loose school market rather than sticking to Spring alone when comparing full-time options. Humble is a 20-minute option to the east if a specific program there is worth the drive.

Because accreditation, not denomination or tuition, is what actually sets the TEFA tier, ask any Spring school directly which agency accredited it and whether that agency is TEPSAC-recognized. A school that clears that bar, with at least two years running at its Texas location, opens up to $10,474 a year for an eligible family. Without it, the flat $2,000 amount applies no matter how long the school has served the area or how it's known locally.
