Classes and enrichment in West/Katy
Classes in West/Katy are led by Katy, with Fulshear, Sealy and Brookshire adding a few more. That reflects how the cluster works: Katy is a huge tri-county suburb doing most of the work, and the rural communities to its west lean on it for almost everything on this list.
Every listing is a la carte, and delivery splits between in person and a hybrid of in-person and online sessions. Art is the subject named, and grades are mostly unstated, so ask what age a class suits. The hybrid option is especially useful for a family in Sealy, well west of Katy's core.
Nearly all of the providers appear on the state's approved-vendor list. The written TEFA list does not name classes or enrichment, though families were buying Bible studies and even horseback riding on the state marketplace in its first weeks, so real approval has run broader than the list. That does not settle any one class, so ask each provider. Homeschool awards are a flat $2,000.
Katy and Fulshear families also look east toward Sugar Land, about 30 minutes from Katy, for something the cluster does not carry locally.

Featured programs are paid placements and appear first. Some programs also pay for a larger profile, which never changes the order. Every listing here is free. How we make money.
