Private schools in West/Katy

16 listings. Full-time private schools, religious and secular, including special-education schools.

Private schools in West/Katy are heavily concentrated in Katy itself, with Waller, Sealy and Fulshear adding a few. The mix leans Christian, and Catholic schools are present too, so this page has more faith-based options than the average cluster. Most are open to families outside their own church, and a classical approach is named at some.

Grades run from Pre-K through twelfth, and a number of the listings are early-childhood programs, so check the grades. Some list evening or Saturday hours alongside the weekday school day, which usually points to extra programs. Most run Monday to Friday.

Katy is large enough that families visit several campuses, and the drive matters. Sugar Land is about 30 minutes and Cypress and Richmond/Rosenberg about 27 to 28, so most families stay inside the cluster. Families in Waller and Sealy are far enough out that a Katy campus can mean a long daily drive.

On TEFA, accreditation sets the award. A TEPSAC-recognized agency plus two years at a Texas campus can unlock up to $10,474 a year, and a school without that caps a family at $2,000. Some of the schools here appear to be accredited at that level, and some do not, so ask each one.
