Private schools in North Houston

North Houston's private schools cluster in Spring and Klein, with Champions/FM 1960 adding a few. Klein has the deepest faith-based bench, spanning Lutheran, Catholic and non-denominational schools with full K-12 tracks, and Spring offers a wider range across several traditions. Together they cover Pre-K through twelfth grade, with art, PE, math, science and Bible among the subjects named.

More of the schools here state no faith than state one, and that range is part of the appeal. Some offer part-time scheduling and at least one is self-paced, so a family that wants a school for only some of the week can find one. Most run a standard Monday-to-Friday day.

Spring, Klein and The Woodlands sit within about 12 to 17 minutes of one another, and many families compare across all three before choosing.

On TEFA, accredited-school awards are reported to arrive in installments tied to enrollment verification, not as one lump sum, so plan tuition payments around that. The tier itself depends on accreditation: a TEPSAC-recognized agency plus two years at a Texas campus for up to $10,474 a year, and $2,000 without it.
