The Woodlands is the Christian homeschool center of Montgomery County, and this page shows both sides of it: private schools for families who want full-time enrollment and co-ops for families who want to teach at home. Catholic and Protestant schools both serve the area, across the full Pre-K to high school range, with Bible and foreign language named as regular subjects.

The co-ops here are one-day-a-week groups. One is tied to a national classical-education network, and another is an independent group organized around its own faith commitments. A parent teaches in most of them, though the model is not identical everywhere: in at least one, parents stay on site rather than dropping off.

Because the community is well organized, families here compare more than they do elsewhere. Spring and Klein are each about 12 to 14 minutes away, and Conroe is about 19 minutes north.

Ask each co-op about its statement of faith and each school about its accreditor. On TEFA, co-op fees remain unsettled unless the group bills through a registered vendor, while a school's accreditation sets the tier.
